检查井盖承载能力试验以1kN/s～5kN/s的速率加荷至井盖规定的试验荷载值，试验荷载保持30s，检查井盖不出现裂缝为合格。
检查井盖残留变形检测，试验前用千分表记录井盖几何中心位置初始值，测量精度0.001mm。以1kN/s～5kN/s的速率施加荷载，达到规定的井盖试验荷载，保持30s然后卸载。此过程重复5次，待第5次卸载后30s时记录几何中心的最终变形值。初始值和第5次卸载后最终值之差为井盖残留变形值。
检查井盖承载能力试验机采用上加载型式，井盖承载力加载设备应当能提供井盖试验荷载1.2倍以上的加载能力。HRJ井盖承载能力试验机由加载设备、刚性垫块、橡胶垫片等组成，采用上加载型式，满足A15，B125，C250，D400，E600，F900井盖承载能力试验。符合EN 124-2015，AS NZS 3396-2019，EN 1433，
